About Us

TOWARDS FUGAR PROGRESS INITIATIVE (TFPI), a registered body with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), was founded as an ONLINE intervention initiative of concerned like-minded patriots to bridge a yawning gap of communication among Fugar sons and daughters all over the world.

At a time our community was bedevilled with moral decadence among the youths, Cultism & Drug abuses reigning supreme, chieftaincy imbroglio, short-cut to riches among our youths, inordinate ambition to attain undeserved heights, a City littered with government abandoned projects, epileptic power supplies, lack of functioning pipe borne water facilities, failure of individual establishment like Nazareth Hospital, Fugar City Hotel, Azebeokhai Biscuit Company etc, then came the Divine Inspired Forum for Fugarians to interact, and return the community to the part of truth, righteousness and progress.

FUGAR OF OUR DREAM: To have a homogeneous City

1. Where no one is identified by his/her village but as a Fugarian with one love and common slogan “FUGAR FIRST”.
2. Where cultism & Drug abuses are abominable acts.
3. Devoid of cultural, social and ethnic chauvinism, and paths to chiefdom or leadership positions transparently defined.
4. Devoid of racial, ethnic and religious discrimination, where ETE’s children from Cross Rivers State born in Fugar enjoy equal rights and privileges as Fugar Aborigines.
5. Where moral values and discipline reign supreme.
6. Where everyone is economically empowered so that the child of a NOBODY (OVIOGWE) is assisted to become SOMEBODY.
7. Where a Tertiary Institution with full accolade is established.
8. Where peace and tranquillity reign in the entire community.
